The reconstruction of the American bomber story crashed in the spring of 1944 during the last conflict in front of the Corsica coast.

• THE P-47 THUNDERBOLT OF MIOMO
On the oriental coast of the Corsica we find numerous aerial wreckage of Second World War.

• THE FLYING FORTRESS “HER DID” OF CALVI
This story about this bomber had never been told for many years, until 1963 when photos of this piece of wreckage appeared in a local Corsican newspaper, creating considerable interest from the American Army.
